Artist Statement

My work investigates the relationship between inner emotion and outward identity. I explore how vulnerability, memory, and transformation take visual form through muted colors, layered textures, and fragmented figures. These themes allow me to question how inner experiences, both quiet and turbulent, shape the ways we present ourselves to the world.

I merge digital layering with traditional drawing to balance precision and imperfection, using technology as both a tool and a mirror of emotion. This combination reflects the tension between control and spontaneity that drives my creative process. Each piece becomes an experiment in reconciling order with chaos, structure with instinct, and clarity with distortion.

Through surreal imagery and fractured figures, I translate discomfort, fear, and faith into visual metaphors for resilience. By reshaping ugliness into beauty, and beauty into distortion, I create psychological landscapes that mirror the complexities of human feeling. My goal is to invite viewers to recognize their own emotions within the chaos and to find quiet strength in vulnerability.
